Founded in 1856, the paper factory in Kriebstein is one of Germany’s longest-standing paper companies. For raw materials only recycled fibres are used, primarily from the region. Ultimately, social involvement is a part of its identity – as part of the company’s long history and as a corporate responsibility to the region and society.
Since 2018 Kriebstein has been part of the Premium Pulp & Paper Group and is adding high-quality paper solutions with a focus on sustainability to its portfolio.
Our mill in Kriebstein, the Kübler & Niethammer paper factory, is the specialist in the application of recycled fibres for all types of papers – from light weight coated to specialist papers. The factory was renovated between 2012 and 2014 following investments in the high double-digit range and is in a technically outstanding condition. Our new production and technology team is highly qualified and motivated. This gives us the best possible conditions to bring new types of paper such as wet-strength labels made from recycled fibres to the international market.
